Interruptions may also occur due to technical issues experiencing by the company INNER BALANCE LTD, internet providers, or user's equipment. Company INNER BALANCE LTD is not responsible for interruptions caused by such external factors.
The company shall not be liable for any damage or inconvenience caused to the user due to technical issues, interruption in service, or impaired access to the website.

If online therapy sessions, the user must also have a functional webcam and preferably headphones to ensure smooth experience.
Psychotherapy Agreement
By choosing to attend psychotherapy sessions (either in-person or online), the user enters into an agreement with the selected therapist. The chosen therapist will provide the user with the psychotherapy agreement outlining the terms and conditions of the sessions.
mypsychotherapist.co.uk is not suitable for emergencies and is not the right choice for:
- acute suicidal thoughts and intentions,
- diagnosing severe mental illness and psychological or psychiatric treatment.
Children
If service providers, therapists, are professionally qualified to provide services to children younger than 18 years, they can offer services to them only under the condition that the parents are informed about the service, agree to it, and also agree to our General Terms and Conditions.
Service Ordering and Payment Process
Access to mypsychotherapist.co.uk services is available upon prior payment for the psychotherapy/counseling session. Payments should be made to the company's bank account:INNER BALANCE LTD.
The price of the psychotherapy/counseling session is displayed in the profile of the respective therapist. According to the first paragraph of Article 94 of the Value Added Tax Act 1994 , INNER BALANCE LTD is not a VAT payer. The prices displayed at the time of ordering are applicable.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICIES
Please ensure you attend all appointments as scheduled.
Please take the time to thoroughly review our website as we are unable to answer ANY clinical question during the telephone or messaging communication.
All financial transactions and payments are completed before the start of ALL your in-person or video appointments.
REFUND POLICY
Please note, there are absolutely NO refunds for ANY prepaid sessions in the event of missed appointments. The therapist’s times and availability are reserved specifically for you, and any missed sessions will be considered broken appointments.
We kindly ask that you only make appointments if you are fully committed to keeping all scheduled future sessions. Refunds will not be issued for ANY prepaid appointments.
We are fully committed to providing services based on previously scheduled appointments, which are confirmed at least 2 weeks in advance.
Emergency
In case of an emergency, please dial 999 or go to the nearest A & E.
Please note that we do not provide emergency care services, either on-site or via video calls.Walk-ins cannot be accepted.
Building a strong connection with clients is an essential part of the therapeutic process and we prioritise establishing rapport. We ask to fill out our contact form to schedule an appointment so that we can properly assess your clinical needs and treatment goals.
All patients will be seen by a Licensed Clinician, with appointments scheduled inadvance.
If you are feeling unwell, such as having a cold, flu, or other illness, please do not attend in-person appointments.. Instead, kindly notify us in advance to arrange a video session.. Please note, telephone or video sessions must be arranged prior to the schedules appointment time and cannot be substituted for in-person sessions without prior notice. All messages will be monitored and responded to within 2 working days.
The amount paid for sessions is non-refundable, as the time is specifically reserved for you. A missed appointment is considered the same as a late cancellation or no-show in line with our cancellation policy.
PAYMENT POLICIES
All sessions must be prepaid in advance and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Our professional rates apply to any in-person or video meeting, including any time spent reviewing your records, medical reports, and written submissions. We cannot secure professional time without advance prepaid reservations.
We do not accept cheques or cash, and no third-party payments are accepted to protect your privacy and confidentiality.
