"Exam questions are not graded; only the responses of the examinees are evaluated. Similarly, human life is not judged by the fateful questions we are faced with, but by the response we choose each time." - Elisabeth Lucas

A person can find themselves in a crisis from which they see no way out. Feelings of alienation, loneliness, chronic illness, and toxic intimate relationships with loved ones can push us into existential emptiness. Ironically, a person’s peace with the world is hidden within themselves. Happiness and suffering are internal states of the psyche. It is therefore reasonable to think that their source can only be discovered within ourselves. Here, we can confront a vast field of freedom and the infinite wealth of the spirit.

In this freedom, I explored my own meaning in my youth through reading, chess, intellectual games, and boxing. I lived as a monk for five years, traveled through India and Asia... I studied psychological counseling, danced social dances, played the piano, taught/studied the Asian game of Go, read some more, taught meditation... and in 2017, I officially began studying psychotherapy through the logotherapeutic approach. Here I am at this moment, as a psychotherapy trainee - for you - as someone who has experienced hours and hours of therapy firsthand, seeking meaning, love, strength, and inner peace.

I am currently pursuing psychotherapy and logotherapy at the Academy for Psychotherapy and Logotherapy. My work as a psychotherapist is conducted under the supervision of experienced professionals: logotherapist Danielle Rigas and clinical psychologist Dr. Teria Shantall. Dr. Shantall was also a student of Dr. Viktor Frankl and studied with him at his first center for Logotherapy in San Diego.

My personal psychotherapy journey includes countless hours of my own therapy, where I sought meaning, love, strength, and inner peace. Now, I bring this experience to you—so that together, we can find your path through life's challenges.

I conduct therapy sessions in English, Slovenian and Serbo-Croatian.
